Giving Thanks

norman

Norman Rockwell’s iconic Thanksgiving image: “Freedom From Want.”

Thanksgiving Day offers each of us the opportunity to reflect on our lives and upon all that for which we are grateful.  It is a day unique in its simplicity of purpose and joyous spirit; no wonder it is one of our nation’s most beloved holidays.

In 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln declared the first national Thanksgiving Day, recognizing that even in the darkest times we are blessed. This Thanksgiving, it is especially appropriate to remember the words of President John F Kennedy: “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

From all of us at Bank of Tucson, thank you. We are grateful for your allowing us to be a part of your lives, and wish you, your families and friends a very happy Thanksgiving.

To all who serve,

To all who have served,

To all who will serve,

Thank you.

Whether you see the front lines of battle

Or sit behind a desk,

You chose to protect us;

To serve your country;

To sacrifice for others.

You are our heroes.

Today, we celebrate you.

Bank of Tucson Promotes Jennifer Schock and Andie Milligan

Please join us in congratulating two of our team members who just earned promotions based on their hard work and dedication to our bank and our clients.

Jennifer Schock, Customer Service Officer (Northwest Branch)

Jennifer started with Bank of Tucson as a teller at our main branch in 2011, getting to know many of our clients. She then assisted the Operations Department before moving into a Financial Service Representative position. Her recent promotion to Customer Service Officer at the Northwest Branch has her supervising tellers and their daily tasks, working on bank reports and assisting customers with banking transactions and new accounts. It’s a perfect fit for someone who enjoys interacting with customers on a daily basis and learning new avenues of the banking process.

As a Tucson resident for more than 20 years and a graduate from the University of Arizona, she’s also well connected the community.

Andie Milligan, Financial Service Representative

Andie also started with our bank in 2011. She began as a loan file clerk straight out of high school and made her way up to receptionist, teller and now to working with new accounts. Her current job duties include helping customers determine what type of account is most beneficial for them according to their account history and usage. She also is responsible for opening and managing accounts and assisting with basic online banking and debit cards. Above all else, Andie takes pride in building relationships with our clients and making sure we’re taking care of their needs.

A go-getter who is always eager to learn new skills, Andie is also balancing career and school, attending classes at night and online to earn a business degree. She’s a native Tucsonian who dedicates some of her free time to drawing and mixed media. She also loves to swim and cook.

At Bank of Tuscon, we are proud of these two hard workers and our entire Bank family for unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
